Hello from Greece
May 13, 2003 Just a quick note to let anyone who may be following me know that I am alright and in Greece at the moment. I happened to wind up on a little island called Corfu which is right near the NW side of Greece and not too far from Albania. Although my spirits were a little bit dampened upon arriving as the trip from the airport to the resort was anything but pleasant, I'm warming up to this place. I hitchhiked into Corfu today from Benetises and am currently in a small cafe using the internet. Not too much to say at the moment but knowing me I'm sure that will change. I did recieve good news from my friend Angela in Budapest yesterday. I had asked her to keep her eye open for an apartment in Budapest I could rent for a month or two. It turns out the lady who owns the building in which she rents has a space for me. It is located right in the heart of Budapest so it would be ideal for my original intent of just spending some time there studying before returning to the states in the fall for school. Take care...
