2001 European Panoramas

Below you will find links to various panoramas that I shot during my trip.  Please understand these may take up to a minute and a half to download.  But once downloaded, you will be treated to a wonderful view of some of Europe's nicest places.  You are able to place your mouse in the image area of the panorama, and while holding down the left mouse button, scroll vertically or horizontally.  Enjoy.

Vienna Austria  - This wonderful panorama was taken near the palace in downtown Vienna.

Burg Bernstein  - This castle is situated on the Austria - Hungarian border.  It once served as one of thirteen castles defending the Austrian empire from invading Turks.  Also, this castle is the former home of the character made famous by the movie "The English Patient".

Lake Wolfgangsee Austria - If you by chance visit Austria, please, please, please come to the Appesbach Hotel in St. Wolfgang!  The view here is so exhilarating.

Caselrotto Cathedral  - Do not miss this one!  There I was all by my lonesome in this 1,000 year old church.  The panorama might take a little while to download as it is about 160K.  But enjoy!

Lausanne Palace & Spa Pool  This panorama was shot late at night while I was standing in the middle of the pool

Lausanne Cathedral Interior  What a shot!  There I was at eight in the morning and I got a panorama I was probably not allowed to...

Straussberg Square I must return to this location!!!

Lausanne Farmers Market I went to shoot an empty square, but found a farmers market instead.

Baden-Baden Spa The spa is world famous and I had a chance to shoot a panorama after hours!

Leeds Castle  Come along for a visit to Leeds Castle just outside of London England.

Northern Italy Mountain Range  As per the suggestion of my hotel host, I hiked to this most picturesque spot.  Once there, I was treated to a beautiful view of one of the more scenic views of all my travels.

Italian Wood Shop  While walking the streets of the small Italian village of Castelrotto, I came across this small wood shop.  The shelves were lined with hand carved figurines which all are had carved and painted by the shop's owner.

Tower Bridge  One of London's, if not the world's most famous landmarks, is the Towers Bridge in London.  It was a perfect day when I took this panorama of this bridge stretching across the Thames River.

Westminster Bridge ( London)  If you can picture a guy standing in the middle of a busy London Road on a Sunday afternoon with a tripod and camera, you will know how I got this shot which includes Big Ben and the Parliament building.

Montruex Switzerland  Just a short distance from Geneva is this wonderful city on Lake Geneva.  As I walked the shoreline, I realized the best shot would be from a roof top.  Would you believe this hotel allowed me on top with no questions asked?

Italian Ceramic Factory  You will find this factory just outside of Perugia Italy.  After following the representative from my hotel at often high speeds across the Italian countryside, we came upon this factory where we bought several nice handmade souvenirs.
